The conference, taking place from October 9-11, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah, brings together industry leaders and innovators to discuss the latest trends, research, and developments in the world of dietary supplements and nutrition. 

Presented by Stratum Nutrition during the Innovation Exchange at the conference, Dr. Karen Posey, Ph.D., will share “CurQ+®, a Next-Gen Curcumin Formulation to Support Joint and Bone Health,” featuring compelling findings on Stratum’s CurQ+, a novel formulation of curcumin. This session will highlight how CurQ+ supports cellular health in cartilage by promoting the normal cellular export processes. Dr. Posey will discuss the role of CurQ+ in maintaining cartilage integrity and supporting bone growth through its effects on cellular function.

“I am excited to share our new findings on potential treatments for pseudoachondroplasia (PSACH), a severe dwarfing condition with early joint degeneration and life-long joint pain due to protein buildup in cartilage cells,” said Dr. Karen Posey. “Our study showed that CurQ+, a special form of curcumin, helps clear out the harmful protein buildup and reduces inflammation, thereby supporting healthy cell growth in PSACH mice and restoring normal femur length. CurQ+ also significantly reduced pain in the mouse model and our hope is that CurQ+ will prevent joint degeneration in PSACH and similar conditions.”
